Molly Spessard In the Fall of 2000, Molly began practicing yoga in a workplace setting while living in Denver, CO. For the next seven years, she explored Bikram, Ashtanga, and Iyengar styles of yoga until the Summer of 2007 when she completed the 200 hour teacher training program at White Lotus Foundation (www.whitelotus.org). Molly has had the opportunity to study with many talented teachers and has been primarily influenced by Sarah Powers, Saul David Raye, and Shiva Rea. She is currently working toward her 500 hour certification at Samudra Global School of Living Yoga. Molly has also been honored to receive teachings first hand from Lama Tsultrim Allione at Tara Mandala (www.taramandala.org) and continues to study Buddhism under her guidance. The classes Molly offers are in the vinyasa flow style and provide students with a balanced combination of yin and yang sequences. Yin style poses bring nourishment to the connective tissues and joints deep in the body, and yang style poses are more active, stimulating blood flow and muscle strengthening. Molly’s classes also offer tantric practices, where the use of pranayama, visualization, and mantra allow students to ignite their inner feminine and masculine ideals. Classes begin with a centering meditation and move through sequences where breath awareness, fluidity, and freedom are encouraged.
